Reverend Sheila Van Houten, DD, PhD
Sheila is a veteran trainer/coach/writer/psychic consultant/energy specialist.
She earned a BA in English, completed a Master's program in Adult Education, earned a Doctor of Divinity in Advanced Energy Medicine, and a PhD in Religion with a specialty in spiritual counseling.
She is a licensed and ordained minister.
Sheila's first poem was published when she was 12, and at 14 she won an award for an essay on the free-enterprise system. She won a blue ribbon about that same time for a personally created sound system of high fidelity back when that was new. She had help from her dad!
In 1984, Sheila scripted, created, and produced "The 17-Minute Vacation", an audio cassette for stress management. Again, her dad helped her with scripting and bankrolled her first shipment of tapes. Even the animals love "The 17-Minute Vacation". They come into the room where it is being played, lie down, and listen to it. She does not sell this tape, but if anyone is interested, she would gift one to them.
In 2008, Sheila wrote True Ghosts, a gorgeous, one-of-a-kind book containing 22 true ghost stories from Sheila's life as well as over 30 lush, full-color photos by master photographer Louis Wendling. Each photo has at least one hidden spirit face in it, and we have counted over 115 so far!

Sheila spent ten years as a trainer at the University of Minesota (Human Resources Department) before starting her own consulting business in 1979.
She self published, See Yourself in a New Light in 1998. It is a collection of previously published articles she was invited to write for publication in various magazines.
An insatiable life-long learner, Sheila holds certifications in such areas as massage therapy, color-light therapy and Kofutu healing. In 2008 she was certified as a Vastu Expert with a specialty in Home Energetics.
Sheila teaches, coaches, writes, speaks, and consults from her home in Minnesota where she lives with her husband, Brian.
Sheila has an extensive web presence. Her content of her websites illustrates the array of her life's work to date.
