Mystery Shopper: No, these are not all scams. Rule-of-thumb: You should never have to pay a fee to become a mystery shopper, and beware of offers promising big bucks. Both are tip-offs to scams. You CAN earn $8-$20 per visit. mysteryshop.org
Medical Coder: You can earn $39,000 to $46,000 annually. aapc.com
Transcriber: $10 an hour minimum. (I personally get MUCH more than that for my transcription projects, so I'd say never transcribe for less than $20 an hour. Fast, accurate transcribing is an increasingly disappearing skill!) assert.org
